French (by way of Cuba) twin-sister duo Ibeyi have a truly unique sound, singing in English, French, Spanish and Yoruba, and smoothly mixing R&B, pop, hip-hop and Afro-Cuban sounds. The North American tour for their excellent third album, last spring’s Spell 31, was delayed, but their appearance last night at Brooklyn Steel was more than worth the wait.
