Fontaines D.C. have been getting a lot of love for their third long-player, the just-released Skinty Fia. NME raves that “the five-piece ambitiously broaden their style, making for a breathtaking collection that’s like nothing they’ve ever done before.” While the Line of Best Fit calls it “a rich, full-bodied third entry, with Fontaines D.C. proving they’re not only here to stay, but here to dominate.” And those gathered at Brooklyn Steel on Tuesday night—for the first of two shows by the Dublin quintet—certainly agree.
