Pierce Brothers Close Out Their North American Tour on Saturday Night at Public Arts

Inspired by fellow Aussie John Butler, multi-instrumentalists and vocalists (and identical twin brothers) Jack and Pat Pierce have been doing their own mix of pop and folk music since they began busking on the streets of their native Melbourne, Australia, several years back. And while they began rocking locally, thanks to their energetic live performances and several acclaimed EPs—including The Records Were Ours (stream it below) and My Tired Mind (stream it below)—that quickly expanded to nationally and then, soon enough, globally. After recently completing their debut full-length album, the Pierce Brothers (above, their video for “Follow Me into the Dark”) embarked on an a North American tour, which they close out in style on the Lower East Side at on Saturday night at Public Arts.
