Jesus on the Mainline
Jesus on the Mainline
A fifteen piece rag-tag group of New York's finest young musicians, Jesus On The Mainline has played to sold-out crowds since their inception in the late summer of 2012. Led by GRAMMY-nominated musician Andrew Neesley, their music is reminiscent of The Black Keys, Mumford and Sons, The Black Crowes, with a dash of Joe Cocker and Janis Joplin for good measure. Listen for their epic soul cover of Nirvana's "Lithium" and the striking original songs of Andrew Neesley and Tim Emmerick.
Animal Years
Animal Years
""Mark my words, you will be singing these tracks after only one round through this album." - VIOLENT SUCCESS

Brooklyn’s Animal Years bring a fresh face to indie roots rock. With influences ranging from early Kings of Leon, My Morning Jacket, Young The Giant, The Wallflowers, to The Avett Brothers, Animal Years is driven by Mike McFadden’s crisp vocals and magnetic poise, featured on the forthcoming record, Sun Will Rise, was released May 6th, 2014.

Free-wheeling, feel-good melodies and smooth ringing guitars shine on Sun Will Rise. From the glorious opening track and first single, “Meet Me” to rockabilly closer, “Walking Slow,” the quartet delivers indie rock with grace. Title track “Sun Will Rise” blossoms with country/folk tinges, and dancy “Forget What They’re Telling You” crescendos with impassioned vocals and guitar strums. Sun Will Rise showcases the delicacy and introspection behind songwriting and draws on the strengths of McFadden’s seasoned voice and multi-instrumental abilities.

Mike McFadden (lead vocals, guitar, and banjo), who adopted the moniker Animal Years to break out of the solo singer/songwriter category, is backed by Anthony Saladino (bass), Matt Indellicati (Guitar) and Anthony Spinnato (drums). McFadden released 3 solo albums while living in Baltimore, MD, before moving to New York in October 2012. When McFadden moved to Brooklyn, he recruited former bandmate Saladino, and newcomers Spinnato and Indellicati to flesh out his sound at live shows.
The Bone Chimes
The Bone Chimes
The Bone Chimes is the dynamic New York indie rock project fronted by Tobi D’Amore (vocals/guitar), with close friends & integral members Sarah Hund (Violin/Backing vocals), Ben Dobay (Woodwinds), Tom Rizacassa (bass), and Vinny Bang (Drums). Their genre defying debut album, In the Muck, was released in 2013 and boasts influences ranging from classic acts like Buddy Holly & Stevie Wonder, to contemporary acts like Dave Matthews Band and Tom Waits. Having played to sold out audiences at some of NY’s most iconic venues such as Irving Plaza (opening for Dirty Pearls), Pianos, and Arlene’s Grocery - one thing is for certain - the Bone Chimes’ live show packs an undeniable punch. After witnessing a live performance from the five-piece it’s apparent that frontman Tobi D’Amore’s main mission is to make sure that every member of the audience is not only having a good time, but feels engaged with the music and its energy. Whether it’s encouraging a sing-along, or buying a round of shots for the crowd - D’Amore will stop at nothing to make sure his shows are memorable and all inclusive.
Bear Ceuse
Bear Ceuse
"Bear Ceuse is drinking the same water as everyone at Merge Records because that shit tastes real good. Perhaps if Thurston Moore and Ryan Adams worked on a project together in the 90′s, there would be no need for this Brooklyn band but since that never happened, Bear Ceuse picks up where that (my) dream left off."
