The Prom You Were Promised: A Benefit for 826NYC

826NYC and Bowery Presents present The Prom You Were Promised, an evening of formal wear, amazing dance music, and a chance to re-live prom the way you always wanted, all to benefit 826NYC, a non-profit writing center for New York City students.

826NYC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting students ages 6-18 with their creative and expository writing skills, and to helping teachers inspire their students to write. With this in mind we provide free drop-in tutoring, field trips, after-school workshops, in-schools tutoring, help for English language learners, and assistance with student publications.
