- The Whitest Boy Alive started in Berlin, Germany as an electronic dance music project in 2003. It has slowly developed into a band without any programmed elements. The members are: Marcin Öz - bass, Sebastian Maschat - drums, Daniel Nentwig - rhodes and crumar and Erlend Øye - guitar and vocals (Kings of Convenience singer/songwriter).
Erlend Øye is from Norway, while the rest of the band is German.
