The Bowery Presents

Music Hall of Williamsburg upcoming shows

ALL official statement
It is with great regret that we must announce that the upcoming ALL East Coast Tour with Off with Their Heads and Shot Baker in January 2010 has been temporarily postponed. Although a full recovery is anticipated, Bill is unable to perform at this time, due to a current medical situation. It will take some time for Bill to recover, and because of this, it was necessary that the January tour be postponed until a future date. Of course, refunds will be given at your point of purchase. ALL would like to send their deepest apologies for everyone who was planning to attend the shows. We’re extremely excited to return to the east coast and are looking forward to rescheduling the tour as soon as possible.

Milo went to college, and ALL was born. Rather than quietly lay down their tools and fade into legend, Bill Stevenson, Stephen Egerton and Karl Alvarez formed an offshoot band from the Descendents called ALL.

The band first saw singer Dave Smalley in some of the earlier albums such as 'Allroy Sez' and 'Allroy For Prez'. Smalley later gave way to singer Scott Reynolds who appeared on the ablums 'Allroy's Revenge', 'Trailblazer', 'Allroy Saves', 'Tony All/Old Girl New Story', 'Percolator', and 'Dot'.

Once Scott moved on, current singer Chad Price stepped in. Price has spent some time in the studio with ALL as well on such albums as 'Breaking Things', 'Pummel', 'Mass Nerder', 'Problematic', and the live album 'Live Plus One'.

Although ALL is mostly made up of members of the Descendents, and most of the songs are written by the same people in both bands, few can deny that ALL has its own distict sound while still letting the Descendents bleed through.
Off With Their Heads
myspace
Off With Their Heads is a punk rock band from Minneapolis that has included members of bands such as Rivethead, Dillinger Four and Banner Pilot. Most of their releases have been splits (with bands that include Blotto, The Measure (SA), Tiltwheel and J Church), 7” singles and EP’s, notably the Hospitals 12” EP in 2006. In 2007 they released the compilation All Things Move Towards Their End which collected songs from their splits as well as compilation contributions from 2003 - 2006, most of it previously only available on vinyl. Their first full-length, From the Bottom, was released on No Idea Records in 2008.
Shot Baker

Shot Baker plays an honest form of aggressive punk rock with driving melodies and addictive choruses. Reinforced by the band's harmonic backup vocals, frontman Tony Kovacs belts out compelling themes of personal endeavor, uprising, and self-realization. Being referred to as "a continuation of the best Chicago punk has to offer," Shot Baker has definitely been making their presence known in the music scene. The band possesses many great qualities but their overall enthusiasm and passion is what puts them on a different level from many bands playing today.
Shot Baker is John Krohn (guitar), Nat Wright (bass), Chris Gach (drums), and Tony Kovacs (vocals). The band was formed in 2003 after the demise of the members' previous bands. With a newfound excitement and highly creative chemistry, the band began writing and recording immediately. To date, they have released two full length albums, one 5 song ep and have appeared on several compilations. They have received local and national coverage ranging from the Chicago Sun-Times, Alternative Press, Razocake Magazine, Punknews.org and many more. They have embarked on an East Coast tour, two Southern US tours, and a West Coast tour with Naked Raygun and Swingin' Utters. Shot Baker is constantly promoting and playing shows in and around Chicago and do constant Midwest excursions with plans for much more touring to come.

Shot Baker isn't here to mix genres, hop on what's popular, or capture a sound. They're here to play music that drives them. It's this simplified way of raw aggression, anger, passion, and love for the music that makes them such a refreshing act to see these days.
