Talib Kweli
Talib Kweli
The Brooklyn-based rapper earned his stripes as one of the most lyrically-gifted, socially aware and politically insightful rappers to emerge in the last 20 years. After nearly 20 years of releasing mesmerizing music, Talib Kweli stands as one of the world's most talented and most accomplished rappers.

The new album Gravitas reflects a continued determination and drive in Talib Kweli, impressive because of the fact that Prisoner of Conscious was released less than six months ago. Considered one of the top tier lyricist of all time and name dropped in songs by everyone from Jay-Z to 2 Chainz, Talib Kweli has defied the odds and remained relevant while never compromising his art, quite a feat in today's music business. The respect he is given is evident when Raekwon from the Wu Tang Clan drops by to spit on Violations. Talib Kweli has also showcased new artists throughout his storied career, giving breaks to people like Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole long before they were embraced by the mainstream. This streak continues with Brooklyn's own UnderAchievers, who pop up on the Statik Selektah produced New Leaders. The OhNo produced Art Imitates Life features classic lyricism from Kweli, Rah Digga and Black Thought from the legendary Roots, and Austin's guitar prodigy Gary Clark Jr. shows up for Demonology. All of this leads up to Gravitas' final track, Colors of You, featuring Mike Posner and produced by the late, great J Dilla of Slum Village fame.
Sean Price
Sean Price
Along with his partner Rock, Sean Price (aka Ruck) dropped two impressive LP's as the duo Heltah Skeltah; their 1996 debut 'Nocturnal' (which included the indelible "Leflaur Leflah Eshkoshka") and their 1998 follow-up 'Magnum Force.' Sean is also a core member of the legendary Boot Camp Clik collective and has been a key and stand out contributor to all three of their collaborative releases; 1997's 'For the People', 2002's 'The Chosen Few' and 2006's 'The Last Stand.'

Not to be outdone, Sean proved he was more then up to the task as a solo-artist as well, as he contributed one of 2005's most critically acclaimed and talked about LP's with his solo-debut 'Monkey Barz', which garnished multiple accolades for Sean, including; being named Source Magazine's Indie LP of the year, being placed on Urb Magazine's "Hot 100 list" inclusion in the Village Voice's yearly "Pazz And Jop" poll, 2005 Indie LP of the year from and Indie LP of the year nods from,,, and

The incessant clamoring and buzz for Sean's Price's sophomore solo-LP, 'Jesus Price Supastar', has come full-circle, as Sean released the LP January 2007 on Duck Down Music Inc. Hip Hop purists have long recognized and appreciated Sean's commanding delivery, powerful voice and clever verses and all of those attributes are on full-display with 'Jesus Price Supastar.'

Many of the same beat makers that helped shape 'Monkey Barz' were back on board to craft another classic LP. 9th Wonder chips in five tracks and Justus League's Khrysis also returns to put his stamp on three tracks. Also, contributing production are !llmind, MoSS, Tommy Tee and PF Cuttin. Phonte, Skyzoo, Sadat X, Chaundon, Ruste Juxx and fellow BCC members Rock, Buckshot and General Steele guest appearancesmore.

Sean Price didn't waste any of his current momentum. As he followed up with the release of a mixtape entitled "Master P" later the same year.

Sean Price reunited with rhyming partner Rock to release their first Heltah Skeltah album in 10 years entitled "D.I.R.T. (Da Incredible Rap Team)." The highly anticipated album might expectations but still hungry for more.

In 2009 Sean Price teamed up with Guilty Simpson and Black Milk to create one of the rawest hip-hop supergroups in recent years, Random Axe. They released their self-titled debut, 'Random Axe' June 2011. The album was critically acclaimed and well recieved by fans for its hard hitting production provided by Black Milk and fierce, witty rhymes provided by Sean Price and Guilty Simpson.

Despite releasing two group albums in the last two years fans are still highly anticipating a solo Sean Price album. In 2009 Sean Price released a mixtape entitled 'Kimbo Price' which serves as a prelude to P's upcoming album 'Mic Tyson.' Fans can expect the same hard hitting production as Sean Price has worked with 9th Wonder, The Alchemist and more. But Sean Price has stated that he's taking his time with 'Mic Tyson' and wants the world to be ready first. 'Mic Tyson' is tentatively set for a early 2012 release. The only thing to know for sure is that it will indeed be another classic.

Cory Mo
In the most respected parts of Houston Texas and throughout World, the name "Cory-Mo" represents music and business excellence. Cory-Mo has actually been a staple in the Texas community for many years. Not only as a Producer / Artist / Performer, but also equally important as a first rate Businessman.

Cory-Mo has been blessed to have the unique opportunity to have worked side by side with one of the most prolific artists and innovative producers the music industry has ever witnessed in the form of the late great southern hip hop legend Chad Butler p/k/a Pimp C Of U.G.K. Cory-Mo had the unique opportunity to develop a life-long connection and friendship with Pimp C which eventually lead to directly mentoring Cory-Mo on the principles to follow in building a successful music career. Pimp's contributions toward Cory's development, competence and polish as a producer and artist cannot be overstated.

M.A.D. Studios (a state of the art studio facility owned by Cory-Mo and his brother Mike Mo eventually became the recognized home studio facility for UGK and every UGK project commercially released since 1999 was substantially recorded at M.A.D. Studios and engineered by Cory Mo and Mike Mo.

As noted earlier, Cory-Mo operates and co-owns M.A.D. Studios with his brother Mike Mo. M.A.D. Studios is a full service music recording and production facility. As a recording engineer, Cory-Mo has worked with everyone from U.G.K. to Erykah Badu, Rick Ross, Talib Kweli, Mya, Lil Wayne, Too Short, Geto Boys, David Banner, Devin the Dude, & many more.

The original operations for M.A.D. Studios was in the Houston metropolitan area, but in 2009 M.A.D. Studios opened up a second full service location in Atlanta, Georgia and now both locations are in commercial operations. Cory-Mo is the lead engineer at the M.A.D. Studios' Atlanta location and this facility has become the "go to" spot for up and coming artists, songwriters and producers in the Altanta Metropolitan area for the nationally recognized recording, mixing and mastering services provided by M.A.D. Studios.

Cory is also Bun B's opening act as well as co-performer when Bun hits the stage performing his solo and UGK classics. In this role, similar to the role he had with Pimp, Cory-Mo has been afforded the opportunity to travel and perform all over the United States as well as Europe and Canada.

Cory-Mo has also achieved notable success from corporate endorsement opportunities. Recently, respected liquor brand Jose Cuervo signed Cory-Mo to an endorsement deal to promote Jose Cuervo's new Tequila brand called "Platino" with special emphasis to the Houston Metropolitan market. Directly because of Cory-Mo's marketing and event planning and hosting skills, Platino is experiencing great gains in the tequila drinking community of the Houston metropolitan area.

Another priceless memory for Cory-Mo/C-Mozart Muzik is "Top Drop Dyne," a Best Buy bonus track on UGK's Underground Kingz album. As Cory-Mo quotes below:

"That's one of the last songs I produced and rapped on with Pimp C.

I think it's gon' forever be a UGK Classic."

"UNDERGROUND KINGZ" Album which "Top Drop Dyne" was a part of eventually charted at #1 in Billboard Magazine adding massive weight to Cory-Mo's already mounting list of achievements. In addition to receiving a #1 Billboard chart status, the "UNDERGROUND KINGZ" eventually went on to achieve "Platinum" certification by the RIAA.

In terms of current projects, C` Mo is now working on a DVD documentary called "Classic Footage" which will definitely be a must buy . Lots of behind the scenes footage of all of his exclusive Studio Sessions with some of your favorite Artist & Producers!!

"Stay Tuned"
Children of the Night
Children of the Night
Children of the Night are the hotly tipped hip hop trio described by MTV as "possibly the best thing out of Queens, New York, since A Tribe Called Quest." The three young members, hailing from Queens, NY are: Lansky Jones, Remy Banks, and Nasty Nigel. Each member has their own individual style, unique outlook yet their share something more than a home borough, they share a collected vision: to create great music. With co-signs from the likes of Roc Nation's Young Guru, super producer Ski Beatz, the legendary Large Professor, Roc Marciano, Mr. Muthafuckin' eXquire, and their Queens peer Action Bronson, it's safe to say that the talented trio are taking New York hip hop by the reins and reclaiming the genre for a new generation, intent on carrying the baton for their borough all the way to the global stage.

Lansky Jones is the lyrical Chameleon. He is able to skill fully deliver on just about any beat, with no two verses sounding the same. His sparse yet original subject matter ranges from Japanese anime to fine dining.

Nasty Nigel is the self proclaimed "Young Spanish Burt Reynolds." He is the eccentric, playful member of COTN. With an ever changing hairstyle that's almost as infamous as his bi-lingual flow and tongue in-cheek references, he commands the stage like a rock star resurrected from the 60s. Oh, and not to mention the boy can sing too.

Remy Banks is the fashion-forward rebel known for his smooth one-liners, but don't let that fool you – he also brings fast-paced, tongue twisting bars. A camo-clad globetrotter, he takes inspiration from the most unlikely of places and stories.
F. Stokes
F. Stokes
"F.Stokes is a voice that is needed in this current era of Hip-Hop. His stories make you feel as if you've shared the same pains and triumph's that he's experienced. I personally find this incomparable to anything I've heard before. I find that to be a good thing. " - Ernest Estime, The Source Magazine

F.Stokes music depicts the stark and brutal realities of the impoverished urban experience. However, F.Stokes chooses not to glamorize the circumstances of his upbringing. Rather than capitalizing on the misconceptions of the modern black experience that have begun to dominate the hip-hop landscape, F.Stokes provides thoughtful insight into the plight of black men in our nation’s largest cities.

Through vivid imagery and skillful wordplay F.Stokes reinterpret the thematic traditions of the soul and blues movements for a new generation of music fans. Beneath F.Stokes undeniable talent as a lyricist, he is driven by a deep sense of responsibility to promote progress and compassion with his music.
