Surfer Blood
Surfer Blood
Surfer Blood’s 3rd album 1000 Palms comes out May 12, 2015 on Joyful Noise Records. The band have performed on 5 continents, toured with heroes like The Pixies and Guided By Voices, played on the Jimmy Fallon Show, at Coachella and giant festivals throughout the world, while also occasionally plugging in their amps at all-ages house parties. Surfer Blood are also the cleanest and nicest band in existence!
Team Spirit
Team Spirit
Ayad Al Adhamy looked over at his guitar collecting dust in the corner and decided that he had had enough. He picked it up, fell back in love and Team Spirit was born.

Needing a band, he got in touch with his old shred-metal college roommate Roman Tobias Pettigrew (who had spent the last few years in Los Angeles starting a cult) and recruited Cosmo Kilburn Di Giulio after finding and nearly losing him after a night’s drinking in a country music bar. The line-up is rounded off by ball-kickin’ drummer Mike Addesso.

Bursting with soulpower, Team Spirit’s music is a cocktail of Motown basslines, Thin Lizzy-esque duelling guitars, 90’s sing-along hooks, Glam beats and Chuck Berry feet.

Do you like to rock? Do you like to move your body and shake those hips of yours? Exactly.

So then, friend, get out the drinks, light your cigarette, lace up your boots and turn it up to eleven! Prepare yourself for the new mavericks of Rock n’ Roll: Team Spirit.
Andy Boay
Andy Boay

Andy Boay is a solo project from Montreal's favorite adopted American, Msgr. Andy White. As the guitar-playing half of the brother-duo Tonstartssbandht, this current manifestation of his solo music evolved when the band became split between Montreal and New York respectively. The project combines his guitar playing with a capella singing and, for performances, live video interactions. The range of song styles is thankfully hard to pinpoint while he carries on with Tonstartssbandht styled vocal psych-pop, '70s inspired slipping riffs and culture-stopping humanist melodies. White's output as Andy Boay continues a decade long run of solo writing and recording that began with his 4-track acoustic psych-folk project The Media, as a 13 year old Floridian. He fulfilled his life long goal at the age of 20 when he received the bicep tatoo "James Gang Rides Again". His philosophy is summarized in the words, "I bid thee well". Buddha never knew a better brother
