Ninjasonik

  • Brooklyn's crunk--punk duo Ninjasonik never fails to get the dance floor jumping. Individually, DJ TeenWolf and Rev McFly have been spinning records and rocking parties across NYC for years. And now partnered as Ninjasonik they bring a whole new type of hip hop to the scene. With their raucous, dance-party live shows, Ninjasonik has grown to be infamous in the Brooklyn DIY community. Dirty dancing, booty dropping, crowd surfing, freestyle improvisation, and audience participation all make for a live Ninjasonik show. And with the release of their "Tight Pants EP", it's official: Ninjasonik has arrived!

Japanther

  • When Japanther began five years ago, everyone knew they were on the verge of something new. 1000 shows later, the band enters into legendary territory, naturally combining catchy hooks, heart pounding beats and frenetic energy with DIY aesthetics. With Ian Vanek on drums and Matt Reilly on bass, both of them screaming and barking lyrics over an Akai MPC, Japanther has a unique sound polished and refined through years of touring cross-counrty.

Juiceboxxx

  • Juiceboxxx is a 21-year-old rapper and producer from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His brand of "energy music" is rooted in the past 30 years of rap and dance and informed by an urgent punk sensibility. Live, Juiceboxxx is the rare performer who takes cues from both Big Daddy Kane and Iggy Pop, kicking up a storm of energy that is at once thrillingly unhinged and masterfully delivered.

The So So Glos

  • These punk rockers are wise beyond their years with a modest air of streetwise attitude. Fine musicians and hungry for action, they harken back to the days of The Clash with rambunctious protest music and pop rhythm flair. The So So Glos rocked critics and cynics alike at this year's SXSW and returned to Brooklyn with seemingly more energy than they left wtih. Rest assured, The So So Glos won't stop until the last barfly is singing along.
