Sound of Urchin

  • Sound of Urchin first came about in the 2000s, when drummer Tomato 11 (aka Chris Harfenist) decided to make an album with friend Barbie Smooth on Steven Records. When he began to develop a fan base, he added bassist Doo Doo Brown (aka Chris Huetz), guitarist B.lll (aka Bill Fowler), and guitarist Scotty Choc (aka Scott Heydt) to the lineup. They developed a form of comedy rock that endeared them to like-minded musicians, leading to work with Dean Ween and Tenacious D, among others. Their debut album, You Are the Best, was released in 2002.
